PROMOTES CHRYS PHILALITHES TO EUROPEAN MARKETING DIRECTOR, APPOINTS CHRIS MILLS AS EUROPEAN HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR AND PROMOTES MAX MOORE TO DIRECTOR OF SYNDICATION AND TRAFFIC
London/Stockholm, 27th August, 2004. Espotting Media, one of Europe's leading paid-for listings providers, announces it has bolstered its senior management team with the promotion of Chrys Philalithes to European Marketing Director, the appointment of Chris Mills as European Human Resources Director, and the promotion of Max Moore to Director of Syndication and Traffic.
Chrys and Max are both Founding Team members of Espotting. In her new role as European Marketing Director, Chrys is responsible for all marketing and communication initiatives across Europe. Chrys will also be playing a key role in the integration process with FindWhat.com, following the completion of the merger between Espotting and FindWhat.com on 1st July 2004. Chrys brings over 8 years of marketing and communications experience to her new role. She previously held the position of UK Marketing Director at Espotting. Chrys was the fifth employee at Espotting (today the FindWhat.com group has over 400 employees worldwide), and she launched Espotting and the pay-per-click business model in the UK in 2000. Prior to Espotting Chrys was New Business Manager at the advertising agency WCRS. Chrys will continue to report to Seb Bishop, Espotting's co-founder.
Max has been with Espotting since August 2000. In his new role as Director of Syndication and Traffic, Max is responsible for Espotting's distribution strategy and traffic across Europe. Max previously held the position of Affiliate Director where he created Espotting's bespoke offering to distribution partners, which sees Espotting providing a fully integrated and customised search solution that reflects the look and feel of the partner brand. Prior to Espotting Max held business development and sales positions at Reuters and Oracle. Max will report to Matthew Colebourne, Espotting?s VP of Operations.

Chris Mills has also joined the senior management team as European Human Resources Director. Chris joins Espotting with responsibility for human resourcing, training and ongoing staff development. He brings to Espotting over 20 years of operational HR experience, with previous postings including EMEA Human Resources Director for software developer Micromuse, where he was responsible for creating and managing an EMEA based HR team during a period of aggressive growth, and Global HR Director with Sema WebTech, a division of the multinational IT services company Sema, with responsibility for staffing the newly formed division, and leveraging existing skills and experience within the organisation. Other HR postings include positions with Johnson Johnson, Kurt Geiger and the Ritz Hotel.
